Welcome to some of our fond memories of our retired Mi-Kis and some of their puppies. These dogs are now enjoying their retirement homes after making wonderful contributions to the Mi-Ki gene pool. Though they may be living elsewhere, they are always in our hearts!
Brumby’s Run Evie
Brumby’s Run Evie has been the foundation of our program and provided many happy families with puppies. Additionally, Her legacy lives on through Brighton, Lucy, Kaiya, Joyce and Jovie. Her daughter Natalie is also living at Brumby’s Run Mi-Kis. Granddaughters Bitsy and Cara Mia also carry on her wonderful traits. She is now being spoiled in Michigan.
Jubilee’s Southern Charm “Savannah,” our Mascot, and forever companion
Even though Evie came to us first, Savannah was the first Mi-Ki we picked out. She is our mascot. We selected her from Jubilee Mi-Kis based on the fact that I wanted a Mi-Ki line with an aptitude for medical alert/service work as I was suffering from epilepsy at the time. Savannah’s grandmother Halle serves as a diabetic blood sugar detection dog. Although my seizures were eventually controlled with diet and essential oils, Savannah can be credited for our start into purpose-bred breeding to help others looking for small, quiet, hypoallergenic support animals. Many of her offspring have gone on to be medical alert dogs and do other types of support work.
Savannah spent several years doing professional modeling and still loves to have her photo taken! We’re thrilled to have several of her offspring in our program including Everleigh (now retired as well) Eden, and Yohanna. Her chocolate son Remington has made lasting contributions to Midwest Mini Mi-Kis. Her grandchildren include her look-alike Umber, Quigley, our precious Minnie, and Tootsie. Savannah will be staying with us.
Royal T’s Irresistible Isabelle, retired, our forever girl
Isabelle is my heart dog. She sleeps on my pillow every night. UKC Ch. Royal T’s Irresistible Isabelle is a tiny Mi-Ki girl (barely 4 pounds) who carries chocolate from her mother Truffle and clear red from her father Moses. She’s done well in the show ring. She became a UKC champion on 7/16/22. Isabelle has graced us with one last daughter (Yin Mei Ling) that we’re keeping. Since this was her second C-section, Isabelle has been retired and will be staying here. Francine is another daughter she produced who is in a guardian home. Isabelle is the #8 dog in the UKC’s Top 10 for 2023.
Eden – Black and White Long Coat Mi-Ki Female (carries the Smooth-Face gene) – retired
Eden produced our first-ever smooth-face Mi-Kis. Her puppies always had wonderful temperaments, and she was Flower of Eden’s mother. Her legacy continues through her son Quigley and grandchildren from Flower. Eden is living in a town nearby with her daughter Trixie. Eden is the daughter of Savannah and Sinbad.
Flower – silver & white long coat – 10/2/2022 – 5/8/2024
Royal T’s Flower of Eden (formerly Esme) was in a guardian home and had her first litter via C-section on 5/7/24. Unfortunately, she experienced a complication – possibly a blood clot, post-surgery and died suddenly. We are devastated by this loss as is her guardian family. She gave her all to those puppies (which is why they were too big to deliver naturally.) She was a gorgeous girl we kept out of an Eden/Cosmo pairing. We will likely be keeping a puppy or two out of her litter to carry on her legacy, one of which will live with Flower’s guardian family.
Royal T’s Lovable Lucy – retired
Lucy is one of Evie and Moses’s beautiful girls. Lucy produced beautiful puppies for us and her son Blue is in a partnership home for hopeful future litters for us. She has other sons who have gone to breeders, so we’re glad to have the option of tapping into this wonderful line again. It’s going to be hard to part with this special girl, but we want her to have individualized attention and be utterly spoiled.
Royal T’s Gallant Gabriella, retired
Although Gabriella didn’t have many puppies for us, the ones she had are spectacular, including Royal T’s Legend of Zelda. She is enjoying retirement in Texas. She is the daughter of Lucy and Jagger.
My Little Cup o’ Chai Royal T, retired
Chai was acquired from Cindy Brugh of My Little Puppy Paws in Michigan at the request of Tamara Beebe, the AMRA registrar to preserve some of her old breeding lines. My Little Cup o’ Chai Royal T is a pretty little 4-pound clear red (cream and white) from a rare Mi-Ki line we’re helping to maintain. Despite her small size, she has had an easy time birthing her litters and is a great little mamma! She had perfect OFA screenings and an Embark DNA test. Chai recently showed very well at the 2022 Mi-Ki specialty with IABCA. She earned her national and international championship titles (applications pending) and high placements including Best of Breed, and a Group 3 in the Toy category. Chai’s legacy continues with her son Harley and several grandchildren that are in our breeding program and others’. These include Yohanna, Nilla, Halen, and great-granddaughter Chaina.
Royal T’s Happy “Everleigh” After, retired
Everleigh produced beautiful puppies for both Jubilee Mi-Kis and us! Her legacy continues through her daughters Tootsie, Echo, Umber, and Minnie. Her son Mushu is a stud for TLC Mi-Kis. She is enjoying retirement in Texas with another Royal T Mi-Ki. Savannah and Sinbad are her parents, and Eden is her littermate.
UKC CH Jubilee’s Champagne “Truffle,” Retired
Truffle has been such an important part of our family that we were only able to retire her to a local home that will let us babysit and have visiting rights. Her legacy continues through her daughters Isabelle, Cocoa Chanel, and granddaughter Francine. She also has descendants over in the UK through Delby.
Royal T’s Cocoa Chanel Couture – chocolate sable long coat – retired
Cocoa Chanel Couture is Truffle and Baron’s chocolate sable daughter. She is a little over 4.5 pounds. Chanel did well at the 2022 Mi-Ki Specialty and earned 1st Place in Bred-by Female as well as her National and International Champion titles (applications pending.) Sadly, she did not have good breeding outcomes and is now retired after just two litters. Her legacy lives on with her son Gimli (formerly Ulrich) who is in a partnership home.
Royal T’s Dazzling Denaya
Denaya was retired semi early after having difficulties with her litters. She still produced some lovely puppies and was prominently featured on many of our puppy videos because she became everyone’s mom. Eventually, she found her way to be someone’s special princess in Colorado Springs.
Brumby’s Run Baron von Royal T “Rio” – Retired
Brumby’s Run Baron von Royal T made significant contributions to the Mi-Ki gene pool including siring Truffle’s Delby in the UK. Many of his offspring still contribute to our program (Cocoa Chanel, Echo, Quigley, and is the grandsire of Francine.) Baron is now being spoiled in Idaho and has been renamed Rio.
Midwest Mini Moves Like “Jagger” – retired
Jagger is a sweet boy that we love, but he developed bladder stones and therefore had to be retired. We were able to keep a little piece of him in our program through his daughter Gabriella with Lucy and were able to get his blue color to come through with Zelda. He’s now living his best life in Florida.
Brumby’s Run Rayne – retired
Brumby’s Run Rightas “Rayne” had that face I just couldn’t get enough of! She is a beautiful black girl with tan points that were brindled. Like Savannah, Rayne also enjoyed doing professional modeling. She was enjoying life in California until her owners recently passed away. This was within just a few days of my father-in-law’s passing, so Bill’s mother offered to take her in. They are helping each other through their losses. I feel so blessed that they have each other and that her deceased human’s son was willing to drive her the 4 hours up to Oregon to take Rayne up to Mom. We now have Abby, Rayne’s half-sister, to hopefully get more pretty-faced puppies from this line.
Belle Amie’s Sinbad – retired
Belle Amie’s Sinbad has made significant contributions to our program. He sired several litters and gave his puppies that silky black coat that stays black. He has gorgeous, big round eyes that can be seen in several of our past and current dogs that will carry on his genes. Sinbad sired Eden, Everleigh, Denaya, Bitsy, and Cara Mia. He is enjoying his retirement in Washington.
